This year Fox Chase Bank celebrates its 140th anniversary. It is an amazing record when considered in light of all that has happened since 1867. The Bank was founded in the middle of the “reconstruction period” as our Nation began to mend the wounds of the Civil War. Andrew Johnson was the seventeenth president of the United States of America. That same year Nebraska became the 37th state and our young nation bought Alaska from Russia for $7.3 million.
We are proud of our deep roots, to be sure, while we celebrate a culture of innovation that keeps us focused on serving you today and anticipating what you will need tomorrow.
One example of our innovativeness is eXpressway. Scan. Send. Deposit. eXpressway allows business customers to deposit checks electronically to their Fox Chase Bank account using a check scanner that is about the size of child’s lunchbox. This scanner is hooked up to our business customer’s PC and turns it into an electronic teller.
Business customers save time because they don’t have to drive to the bank to make their deposit. eXpressway also adds convenience because, instead of photocopying the checks you want to deposit, it creates images of both the front and back of the check and stores them for you to access electronically. And it is easy. eXpressway can produce an electronic file that can be used to directly update most accounts receivable accounting packages.
